About AANI [Allergy- Asthma Network of India] :

AANI is a registered non profit organization with the following objectives :

1. To bring qualified physicians in the medical sub speciality of 'ALLERGY & ASTHMA' in the Indian subcontinent under one umbrella.
2. To represent the common interests of these specialists in continued medical education, periodic professional meetings, To act as advocate of the allergic and asthmatic patient, To issue periodic statements in the common interest of the public in general.
3. AANI will serve as a central referral source for information, location of its members, speakers bureau.
4. AANI will also assist its members in educational, charitable, technical, financial advisory, marketing, academic matters on an advisory basis.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP :

1. Formal training in the field of allergy & asthma.
2. Publication of pertinent articles in peer reviewed journals.
3. Outstanding contribution to the field allergy-asthma.
4. Evidence of CME of atleast 40 hours in the past 3 years.
